Feedback
We should have some method by which contributors upload examples and scripts and these are displayed such that the community is able to edit - add / modify / delete portions.
Eg- Person 1 uploads, Person 2 adds to it, Person 3 says this example is not relevant, try this instead, Person 1+2 or reviewer or any of the others approve that the second example is better. This process is iterated until the script is modified and takes its final shape. It is then ready to be created into a spoken tutorial.
In this way, everyone contributes, reviewers included.
Reviewers / experts will approve the final draft and then the script can be displayed on the bidding page for creation.
We should also have support for examples and scripts created in languages other than English. Original spoken tutorials can be created in other languages as well and then dubbed into English, Hindi, etc...

Publisher: Publisher is the main feature to post information and messages which appear on the user's own Wall, on their friend's Walls, as well as the News Feed on the Home page. It appears at the top of the Home page, Profile Wall page as well as friend's Wall page. For the user there is a 420 character limit, with a 1000 character limit when posting on a friend's Wall. News Feed: News Feed highlights information that includes profile changes, upcoming events, and birthdays, among other updates. News Feed also shows conversations taking place between the walls of a user's friends. An integral part of the News Feed interface is the Mini-Feed, a news stream on the user's profile page that shows updates about that user. Unlike in the News Feed, the user can delete events from the Mini-Feed after they appear so that they are no longer visible to profile visitors. This feature would help in updating friends regarding the various upcoming events of Spoken Tutorials. Events can be added, when friends join these events, a notification is also send on the walls of the users friends. This would help in creating awareness about Spoken Tutorials.
Wall: The Wall is a space on each user's profile page that allows friends to post messages for the user to see while displaying the time and date the message was written. Facebook allows users to post attachments to the Wall One user's Wall is visible to anyone with the ability to see his or her full profile, and different users' Wall posts show up in an individual's News Feed. Many users use their friends' Walls for leaving short, temporal notes. More private discourse is saved for messages, which are sent to a user's inbox, and are visible only to the sender and recipient(s) of the message, much like email.
Photo and video uploads: Users can add their videos with the service by uploading video, adding video through Facebook Mobile, and using a webcam recording feature. Additionally, users can "tag" their friends in videos they add much like the way users can tag their friends in photos, except the location of the friend in the video is not displayed. Users also have the option of video messaging. Videos cannot be placed in categories, whereas photos are sorted by albums. This feature would help in uploading the photos of the various workshops conducted. And also every month the video tutorial of the website which has been rated the highest could be uploaded here.
Status Updates Facebook has a feature called "status updates" (also referred to simply as "status") which allows users to post messages for all their friends to read. In turn, friends can respond with their own comments, and also press the "Like" button to show that they enjoyed reading it. A user's most recent status update appears at the top of their profile, and is also noted in the "Recently updated" section of a user's friend list. This feature could be used to update about the current status of 'Spoken Tutorial'.
Using Pages for Business Solutions on Facebook
Below listed is description to understand the use of page for promoting and advertising:
Facebook Pages allow artists, businesses, and brands to showcase their work and interact with fans. These pages come pre-installed with custom functionality designed for each category. For example, a band Page has a music player, video player, discography, reviews, tour dates, a discussion board that the artists can take advantage of. Third party developers will also build an array of applications that they will compete for Page Admins to add to their Pages. Facebook Pages are also not subject to a fan limit and can automatically accept fan requests.
Users want to know what their friends are listening to and try out their recommendations. Whether it’s playing a track, watching a video, writing on the wall, writing a review, or attending an event, a fan’s interaction with a Page can generate News Feed stories to his friends. Since users can immediately click through to that Page and interact with it, engaging Pages will benefit from a virtuous cycle of user attention. Additionally, Pages will be publicly viewable, so Facebook users searching for a particular artist or company on the World Wide Web will find a presence for that group in an environment they know and trust.

Twitter (Features Useful for Spoken tutorial)
Twitter is a social networking and micro blogging service that enables its users to send and read messages known as tweets.
1. Tweets: Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the author's profile page and delivered to the author's subscribers who are known as followers.
2. Following: Following someone on Twitter means you are subscribing to their Tweets, and their updates will appear in your personal timeline on your Twitter homepage. If you follow 'X', you'll get X's updates on your homepage when you log in. When you follow someone, they will then have permission to send you private tweets, called direct messages, too. Your follower/following statistics are listed on your profile page.
3. Followers: Followers are people who receive your tweets. If someone follows you, they're your follower – they'll receive your tweets in their home page, phone, or any application (like Tweetie, TweetDeck, etc.) that they use.
4. Making friends: You can add your known people as your friends in your profile. This can enable you to contact them through tweets. This can also help the users to work collaboratively.
5. Enabling grouping of friends: Grouping is very useful concept , in which you can restrict the people to sending or receiving tweets, you can say reducing the noise in your feed , which can help you to keep your tweets secure.
6. Shortening of links : It automatically shortens any URL you want to share making them easier to fit into Twitter's 140 character limit. Then, you can use the shorter version in your Tweet, and anyone who clicks on it will be redirected to the longer URL.
7. Give link from your website to your Twitter Account : Twitter has come up with six different-sized buttons for use on your website or blog. To display a button on your website: simply click on the one you want and copy the HTML code that pops up. Then paste it wherever you want in your website's source code.
